The camera lucida
Photography is always an enlighting experience. It helps you see things in a completely different way. I can't understand why people think photography can be realistic at all. A photograph is very loosely related with reality, no matter what they might try to tell you out there. The girl in this shot wasn't really looking this way, it was just me who saw her that charming. Besides, it was too dark to see anything with our nacked eyes, it was the digital sensor working at 12400 ASA that did the job by capturing a few lost photons here and there. Do you still think this is reality?

The excitement of taking someone's picture
We take many things for granted theese days, but taking someone's picture is a magic misterious experience no matter how many times it has been done. It's like taking away your model's soul. I imagine this guy in the shot trying to steal his fiance's essence in that single gorgeous shot. This extraction process needs a stable base, as you can clearly see.

Introductory post
When we travel, we all aproach photography in different ways but
similar behavioural patterns arise. The shots in this blog will try to
show you some of theese patterns. We all have seen them, this is just a revival effort. LOCATION: Fonts de Montjuïc, Av. Reina Maria Cristina, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
